What we did (in a nutshell):
StockHolding needed a cleaner, more reliable presence across Google Business Profiles - something that reflected its scale, ensured accuracy for customers, and reduced the friction caused by unverified or inconsistent listings across India.
But the reality on ground was messy. Listings existed under inactive emails, many locations were unverified, and mismatched names, addresses and numbers had created duplicates and even suspensions. With each region operating differently, verification and data collection became a slow, manual challenge.
So we brought structure and scale to the process.
We began with a nationwide audit, mapping every listing, every gap and every inconsistency. From there, we streamlined the verification pipeline using Google’s Business Video Verification and phone-based checks, ensuring each location could be verified quickly and correctly.
To simplify the process for internal teams across regions, we created a step-by-step Google My Business Verification Guide, that standardised how data was captured, submitted and verified, removing ambiguity and dependency on inactive accounts.
And to keep the momentum going, we set up a continuous follow-up system that ensured unverified listings moved into verified status without losing time. The result was a cleaner, more accurate, and far more discoverable presence for StockHolding across India.
